E2K+ Scholars have had an exciting first week! They have participated in numerous activities that have prepared them to be Junior Detectives in the E2K+ CSI unit! Soon, the head detective will present a crime with many mysteries still surrounding it. Good luck to the junior detectives! Traveling to IMSA was also a highlight of the week. All E2K+ scholars had an opportunity to tour IMSA, participate in a math class, experience polymers, and eat in IMSA's cafeteria!
E2K+ Scholars are now trying to solve a mysterious crime that occurred at a high school. The school was vandalized, and all that is left behind are a few pieces of evidence. Can our Herget CSI team use logical reasoning and observable facts to come to conclusions about this crime? So far, they have determined the brand and make of athletic shoes that were worn by two people whose tracks were found leading to and from a broken window at the school - good job detectives!!
E2K+ Scholars are realizing all of the detail detectives must notice before they solve a crime. Herget's CSI detectives have analyzed the evidence, identified hairs found at the scene of the crime using microscopes, determined shoe brand, make, and size of those found at the crime scene, used patterns to identify the tire type, and are currently going through finger-print training.
